In partnership with the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) of Quezon province, prioritized DepEd Quezon personnel took the jabs against COVID-19 at the Quezon Convention Center (QCC) on Friday, July 2.
The fifth batch was composed of 26 Division personnel from different functional sections/units who received their first dose of Sinovac. As per record, a total number of 64 SDO personnel were already vaccinated—12 of them have finally completed their doses of Astrazenica and Sinovac on their scheduled dates.
This vaccination program is part of an ongoing mass immunization to protect individuals against COVID-19, along with strict adherence to minimum health and safety protocols, like wearing of face mask, handwashing, and physical distancing .
On April 15, 2021, the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has identified frontline personnel in basic education and higher education institution, including other agencies, as part of the Priority Group A4.
