To ensure quality implementation of the Oplan Kalusugan sa DepEd (OKD) program, and the health and safety protocols in schools amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Quezon province conducted a monitoring activity in select schools in Candelaria, Quezon on June 22, 2021.
Marie Antoinette Aguinaldo Tesalona, MD, Division Medical Health Officer (MHO); and Jose Macario Ernie Patino, DMD, Division Dentist-in-Charge (DIC), led the said activity in coordination with Maria Fatima Calayag and Racquel Marcuap, Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDSs).
Schools visited include Candelaria Central Main, and Candelaria 1 & 2 Elementary Schools (ES) in the west district, while Mangilag Sur ES and Malabanban Norte ES in the east.
Program monitoring is consistent with DepEd Order No. 28, s. 2018 or the "Policy and Guidelines on Oplan Kalusugan sa Department of Education".
