Brgy. Cagsiay II, Mauban, Quezon—Delegated by OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Elias Alicaya Jr., Elizabeth De Villa, Chief of the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), assisted in the processing of school ID, and turnover of material donations, to Cagsiay 1 National High School (NHS) Annex on Thursday, May 27.
From Cagsiay 1 NHS’s founding six years ago, initially housing its learners at the barangay hall, the school has its own campus now located in Brgy. Cagsiay II. Hence, to recognize the effort of the parents, stakeholders and originators, the SDO handed over 15 boxes of bond papers and four boxes of facemasks as part of the SMN’s “Dugtong Tulong Para sa Karunungan”. Said project seeks for donors and partners who are willing to extend financial and/or material help for school beneficiaries.
De Villa emphasized in the brief ceremony how the culture of “bayanihan” was exemplified by the school stakeholders for learners’ sake. In behalf of the Top Management, she extended her gratitude to the people who became instrumental in the fulfilment of the school’s vision, and asked for continued support for the success of programs and projects in the Department.
Wilson S. Martinez, Teacher-in-Charge, thanked the SDO and all the parent-leaders for consistently supporting the school’s cause.
De Villa was accompanied by Elenar Opena, Public Schools District Supervisor of Mauban South District; and by the Social Mobilization and Networking (SMN) Section: Paul Clifford N. Marquez, Senior Education Program Specialist; and Mary Joyce P. Salamat, Education Program Specialist II.
