LOOK: "LGU-partners of SDO Quezon receive DepEd CALABARZON’s plaque of appreciation"
The local government unit (LGU)-partners of the Schools Division of Quezon province
have been awarded with plaques of appreciation through the unmatched effort
of the Department of Education (DepEd) Region IV-A CALABARZON, September 30,
2020.
As the schools prepare for the much-awaited Opening of Classes for School Year 2020-2021 in October 5, the LGUs are playing a very important role which never gets unheeded, that is, their altogether support for the implementation of school programs, activities and projects (PAPs) aligned to the Basic Education-Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) as the country remains affected by the current public health situation. This is the reason the DepEd CALABARZON in coordination with the Schools Division Office (SDO) found it timely to express heartfelt
gratitude to the Office of the Provincial Governor and to all thirty-nine (39) Offices of the Municipal Mayors in the province. It is made in grateful recognition for all forms of
assistance that are being offered primarily to the 957 public schools in the Division.
This Regional Office (RO) initiative is a genius of the Regional Director himself, Wilfredo E. Cabral, Director IV. Notably, it is a foreshadowing of the CALABARZON Pivot’s strategic thrust of Advancing enduring collaboration, open communication and vibrant relationships. Likewise, RD Cabral monitored the regional preparedness, vis-à-vis expressed appreciation on the contribution of stakeholders, parents,
administrators and teachers towards the delivery of unhampered, accessible and
quality education.
The distribution of plaques of recognition runs from September 29 to October 2, 2020. The Top Management (TM) of SDO Quezon, OIC-SDS Elias A. Alicaya, Jr., EdD, OIC-ASDS Gregorio A. Co, Jr., OIC-ASDS Greg T. Mueco, and OIC-ASDS Herbert D. Perez, together with the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) Chief Elizabeth M. De Villa, Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) Chief Lorena S. Walangsumbat, EdD, and Administrative Officer V Ma. Dolores D. Atienza are working together to deliver the said plaques along the four (4) congressional districts.
The DepEd-LGU partnership in Quezon has
been there for a long time and continues to thrive over the years. The success of BELCP in schools is partly attributed to the significant contributions of these partners
