March 5, 2026 — Preparedness took center stage as an Earthquake and Fire Drill was successfully conducted for the DepEd Quezon Dolphins delegation, reinforcing safety and disaster response awareness amid the ongoing RAAM 2026 activities.
The drill was facilitated by the DRRM Team headed by Sir Arvin Repaso, who led the simulation with precision and clarity, ensuring that all participants understood proper emergency protocols. Athletes, coaches, assistant coaches, chaperones, and members of the Technical Working Committee actively took part in the exercise, demonstrating discipline and cooperation throughout the activity.
The simulation covered immediate response procedures during an earthquake, orderly evacuation protocols, and designated assembly points in case of fire incidents. Participants were reminded of the importance of remaining calm, alert, and responsive in times of emergency—principles that are as vital as athletic preparation.
Through this initiative, the Schools Division Office of Quezon underscored its commitment not only to excellence in sports but also to the safety and well-being of every delegate. The activity highlighted that beyond medals and victories, preparedness and protection remain top priorities.
As RAAM 2026 continues, the DepEd Quezon Dolphins stand not only game-ready but safety-ready—proving that true champions are prepared for every situation.
