DepEd Quezon experienced a virtual opening of this year’s Brigada Eskwela vis-à-vis Oplan Balik Eskwela kick off on June 5.
The virtual set up was designed due to the safety protocols being mandated by the national government in which no social gathering is encouraged.
Also, the province was then still in the state of Enhanced Community Quarantine that made it impossible for face to face endeavor.
About 29,000 individuals viewed and 633 shared the program.
Dr. Ma. Lourdes Laydia, a sought after psychologist in the province was the guest speaker who gave insights on Psychological aspects and well-vbeing as essential tools amid the current health emergencies.
Director Wilfredo Cabral of DepEd Region IV-A, SDS Caterine P. Talavera, CESO V, and Gov. Danilo Suarez gave their messages calling everyone to take active part in this activity despite Covid 19 .
Division Brigada Eskwela Focal Person, SGOD Chief Elizabeth De Villa, EPS Raul A. Agaran and his members, SEPS Paul Clifford N. Marquez, EPS II Mary Joyce P. Salamat in coordination with the Division Information and Technology Officer Wilbert B. Porteza chaired the preliminaries and plans relative to the kick off activity.
Virtual programs were first for the Division. With this, the committee has to prepare well that its objectives will be achieved. Concerned Individuals who will be part of the program were tapped to record their endeavors. All information for the activity were sent to all concerned via DepEd Memorandum No. 53 series of 2020.
