The Regional Athletic Meet Association (RAAM) is an annual spectacle that brings together the best athletes from various divisions in CALABARZON. However, the athletes and their thrilling performances are not the only stars of the show. There is a team working diligently behind the scenes, responsible for creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for the athletes - the team in charge of decorating the assigned billeting quarter.
The Quezon Dolphins Delegation's creative team is composed of dedicated teachers from diverse backgrounds who are tasked with transforming Quezon's billeting quarter into a home away from home for the athletes. They ensure that the quarter is not only comfortable but also inspiring and conducive to the athletes' RAAM's performance.
Mrs. Liza Morales, a Head Teacher from Gumaca, Quezon and her team begins working days before the event. They meticulously plan the layout, choose the color scheme, and carefully select decorations that reflect the spirit of the games and the unique culture of Quezon. They work closely with Dr. Joan Alejaida, SDO's Sports Officer, with the athletes and coaches to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that the quarter will be a space where the athletes can relax and focus on their performance.
Also, the creative team is responsible for incorporating elements that represent Quezon, the athletes' home division. They use local art, cultural symbols, and even local flora to create a space that reminds the athletes of home. Quezon is not only known for coconuts but with Dolphins plunging like athletes who want to penetrate into the top performing divisions in RAAM this year. This not only boosts the athletes' morale but also showcases the vibrant culture of Quezon to the other delegations.
The team works tirelessly, often into the wee hours, to ensure that the quarter is ready before the athletes arrive. They handle every detail, from the placement of the beds to the arrangement of the common areas. Their dedication and attention to detail are evident in the beautifully decorated billeting quarter that greets the athletes upon their arrival.
Their work does not end with the decoration. Throughout the event, they continuously maintain and adjust the quarter to ensure they remain comfortable and inspiring for the athletes. They also handle any issues that may arise, ensuring that the athletes can focus solely on their performance.
The team's efforts often go unnoticed, but their work is crucial to the success of the Quezon Athletic Delegation. Their dedication to creating a comfortable and inspiring environment contributes significantly to the athletes' performance.
In conclusion, the team in charge of decorating the billeting quarter for the Quezon Athletic Delegation plays a vital role in the Regional Athletic Meet Association. They work tirelessly behind the scenes, creating a home away from home for the athletes and contributing to the overall success of the event. Their efforts exemplify the spirit of teamwork and dedication that is at the heart of 2024 RAAM.
