Brgy. Talipan, Pagbilao, Quezon—To improve education facilities of DepEd Quezon to better serve its learners and customers, the Quezon Provincial Government, through Hon. Governor Doktora Helen Tan, led the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the 4-Storey Education Center (Phase 1) for the Division Office, July 13.
Focusing on the construction of resilient infrastructure for the benefit of Quezonian learners and Division personnel, the provincial government will construct a building of 3,079 square meters, amounting to P50 million from the Special Education Fund (SEF). It will be equipped with fire protection system, solar panel system, water tank, CCTV, new transformer and furniture, public address system, and modular partition.
According to the local government donor, there will be a parking space for Division personnel and visitors on the first floor. A more organized and expedited operation is expected because, on the second and third floor, important frontline services will be placed. The fourth floor will serve as training center whereas portion of said level will become dormitory for training participants.
Governor Tan thanked Provincial Engineer Johnny Pasatiempo and Consultant Engineer Cely Francia for the carefully laid out plan for the project. Mayor Angelica “Ate Gigi” Portes-Tatlonghari also attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
Filled with happiness and excitement, the Top Management, led by Schools Division Superintendent Rommel C. Bautista, CESO V, expressed gratitude to the provincial government for its all-out education support to the mandate of DepEd towards providing Quezonian learners, teachers, personnel and stakeholders with safe, comfortable learning and working environment.
