Committed to ensuring the holistic well-being of internal and external stakeholders, and providing access to basic services offered by other government agencies, DepEd Quezon, through the Administrative Section, implemented Project Outstanding Support Delivery Services (OSDS) in partnership with the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Pag-IBIG Fund, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Civil Service Commission (CSC), Department of Environment and Natural Resources- City Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR-CENRO) Tayabas, Urban and Biodiversity Research, Development and Extension Center (UBRDEC), Land Bank of the Philippines, Bureau of Treasury (BTr), and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), on June 26-27 and June 29-30, 2023.
As a very large Division seated in geographically dispersed localities, accessing services from various government agencies can often be time-consuming and cumbersome. It necessitates teachers and other employees to physically appear in multiple offices and complete several forms for processing and/or securing their benefits. This approach may entail additional costs for travel, as well as relative delay, confusion, or inefficiency.
Thus, to address such challenges, the Administrative Section, headed by AO-V Maria Dolores D. Atienza, established a one-stop shop in the Division Office which centralized different services that could be conveniently accessed by clients in one place.
Bringing together the GSIS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, PRC, CSC, and BIR, among others, DepEd Quezon sought to streamline access to vital services towards improved customer satisfaction and overall well-being. Specifically, this significantly reduced the time and effort required to seek assistance from said participating agencies. It fostered closer collaboration between and among the Division and the partner organizations, leading to improved processes and service delivery. Likewise, the provision of such services with convenience and promptness would enhance the client experience and level of satisfaction. Eventually, it is believed that when employees develop a positive perception of the government's commitment to their well-being, their work performance improves as well.
