The top management of DepEd division of Quezon arranged a meeting with Governor Danilo Suarez on June 23 to discuss the division’s Learning Continuity Plans (LCP).
Present on the said meeting were Gov. Danilo Suarez, provincial governor; SDS Catherine Talavera, CESO V; ASDS Elias Alicaya Jr, ASDS Gregorio Co Jr, ASDS Herbert Perez, CID Chief Lorena Walangsumbat and SGOD Chief Elizabeth De Villa.
The learning situational analysis on DepEd Quezon schools and their learners’ context was the focal point of the presentation.
SDS Talavera also shared to the governor the urgency for the needed resources to deliver the modalities defined in the SDO LCP.
The SDS cited the need for budget in the production of learning materials in which the assistance of the provincial office is solicited.
Relatively, the SDS also mentioned the need for enough Special Education Fund (SEF) which will suffice the printing costs of modules and the expenses that will be incurred upon distribution to all schools across all areas of the entire division.
