DepEd Quezon delegates capped 134 awards in the recently concluded Online International VEDIC Mathematics competition held on April 10, 2023.
Lopez East district shared 45 medals, Lopez West amassed 42 medals, Recto Memorial National High School chipped in 32 medals, Hinguiwin National High School collective 12 medals, and Infanta Central Elementary School registered 3 medals to complete the achievements of DepEd Quezon.
INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION - Jalenn Gavierrez of Hinguiwin NHS accelerated to the top 3 in Intermediate category while Aron Dan Pastrana of the same school also penetrated the top 3 in the senior category.
Other awards included: Primary A (gold)-Alexander James Ibasco of Atimonan; (silver) – Liam Zion Cabalu of Atimonan, John Carlo Pilarca of Lopez West, Jaina Odhette Lacuesta of Atimonan, Jeyzen Jacon Villano of Lopez West, and Dhen Nathaniel Sarcino of Lopez West; (bronze)- Yuan Xandre Zamora, Josh Matthew Erandio, Maria Waine Andre Corcolla, Tererose Chesa Barros, Althea Pitero, Gwen Falconaga, Muirel Jane Milan, Prynces Rein Imperio- all from Lopez West.
In Primary B (silver) - Guiea Guevarra and Dyenin Rose Nape of Lopez West were the winners; while Meagan Kate Javier, Shanelle Talento, Shenjii Zii Santos, Marien Babaran of Lopez West won bronze.
The Junior category brought home silver medal. The winning delegates included Reves Deon Sollano, Zianna Islam, Neiah Marthea Villanueva, Elysse Brielle Murillo, Kalisie Matthew Coronel of Infanta district, Mark Arwind Estrada of Atimonan district, and Ahley Caneta of Padre Burgos.
Bronze medalists: Ma. Hsian Angelique Villamor, Juanne Jezther Vibal, Julianne Angelique Moldon, Christ Johan Abaja, Rica Mae Roncale, Jillianne Claire Española, Adrienne Pedigan, Chlem Xhamei Ellera (Lopez), and Jilian Tricia G. Brito (Padre Burgos).
In intermediate level, the following were gold medalists: Jalenn D. Gavierrez, Francis Rigor Garcia (Padre Burgos), Estelle Kezia Chavez (Lopez). Silver medalists included Jho Ann Jordan, Rheanna Nicole Parco, Irish Genetiano, Ivan Joseph Villar, while bronze medalists were Claudine Arcegal, Maxene Concepcion, Hanah Sopia Alpuerto, Shyra Saang, Launce Axle Amboy, Mary Dhez Salvador, Kyla A. Flancia, Eric Hidalgo, Chloe Ann I. Donato, Kevin Carl Evangelista, Leslie Ann Jordan, Darren Morelo, and Laura Ashley Mendoza.
In the Senor category, ARON DAN T. PASTRANA won gold, WENDELL C. PARCO won silver, and VINCE JOSHUA SAMIADO won bronze medal respectively, while JEAN AUBREY A. SAMODIO finished with bronze medal in the Open category.
NATIONAL COMPETITION - During the INIC VEDIC national Math challenge on April 10, 2023, Elysse Brielle Murillo of Infanta CES emerged in the top 3, while Danielle Angay of Recto MNHS made it to the top 2.
Other winners: (Beginner’s level), Silver - EUNA A. DATARIO, LHEANNE ANGELA A. ALBOLADORA, and LEXIE MIKAELLA V. ORGETA; (Bronze) - SEIAN ASHLEY G. CAPANZANA, and LIAM XANDER CAGUJAS.
Meanwhile, JAN CARLO PILLARCA of Lopez West brought home gold medal in the primary level, while GIANNA ALYA ONORE ARIT, KIMBERLY NICOLE OROPESA, EUNICKA FAME ORGETA, KEAN CARL PINEDA, KING ANGELO BENAMERA, NESSA MAE OCAMPO, JANEENE CATE FACTOR, ZALDHEO QUINO VILAR, JOHN GEORGE V. BARRON, SOPHIA AALIYAH BAIT, MARGARETTE ANNE CREDO, YUAN XANDRE ZAMORA, and SOFIA CELESTINE RETOTA were bronze medalists.
In the Junior category, winners included: ELLYSSE BRIELLE U. MURILLO, CHRIST JOHAN ABAYA, REVES DEON SOLLANO, and KAZANDRA LUISE MORRIS (gold), KARLISLE MATTHEW T. CORONEL (silver), and KEN N LOURKAN DIMAYUGA, ALIYAH MAY DE LEON, LOVELY JOY LIWANAG, JILIAN TRICIA BRITO, JEWEL MAGTULOY (bronze).
Intermediate level: ARJAY ABRIGO, LANCE RUI ESTRADA (gold), CYRINE JOYCE MARIQUINA, GILLIAN IRANZO, CAISLYN THERESE UMALI, JHON ANTHONY ORGENA, LAUNCE AXCLE AMBOY, KEVIN CARL EVANGELISTA, JANELLE SORIANO, NICOLE LACSON (silver), CRISHEN MICHAELA TOLEDO, DAN ELIJAH SURIO, JEAN IRISH GENETIANO, ALLYSA FAE LUTERO, and CHOE ANNE DONATO (bronze).
In a related event, DENYELLE M. ANGAY won gold in Senor category, while ARON DAN PASTRANA, MARK PALMA, BRENT JOSEPH SAMOY, KYLA MARIE ESQUIBAL (silver), and AXEL JEDRIC BRIONES, JIRO MORI, ROLLY BITOIN, and JUSTIN ETHAN DESTACAMENTO (bronze). APRIL CHARIZ DELMO and ELMER ALCAZAR won bronze in open category.
