Quezon Dolphin gymnasts vaulted a masterful spectacle and flourished big in rings and parallel bars in the final round of the Regional Athletic Association meet (RAAM) 2023 edition held at the Imus City Gymnasium, April 15.
Rhythmic gymnasts’ secondary girls’ division trio of Keziah Andrea Francisco, Roxanne Cortez, and Jeallian Hillary Villarez finished with bronze medal. Tricia Gem Francia served as the trio’s coach.
In rhythmic gymnastics elementary Nicole Anne Obida, Marthena Ysabella Magtibay, Roselyn Caballero, and Roxanne Cortez coached by Lorena Reyes concluded their season’s best with bronze medal.
Results in other categories included the following:
Women’s artistic gymnastics (Elem) – Leane Jadine Rodel bronze in floor exercise, and silver in vault second with Ma. Geronima Cuales coaching her; (Sec) – the Genda De Chavez team snatched bronze medal composed of Justine Maye Llaga, Marian Claire Palian, and Miia Mionette Palian.
Men’s artistic gymnastics (Elem) – Niegel Waine Cabigunda won bronze medal in vault with Lucila Virrey as his coach; (Sec) – Wilfredo Sanchez Jr also brought home bronze medal in vault with coach Roxane Perez. (Story: Abner Pureza/ Photos: Germon Culla)
