IMUS CITY - It’s not love at first sight but love at first set! This marked the record today in table tennis single A – elementary boys as Quezon and San Pablo clashed at Gov. D.M. Camarino Integrated School, with Quezon on the lead 3-0.
Liam Zion F. Cabalu proved his might in the tournament as he frightened his opponent with his strong spins and drives that brought it to a love set in first battle, 11 – 0.
Cabalu felt the intimidation of San Pablo that ruined the paddler’s strategy and panics on returning the tally. Cabalu’s table aced combinations of pass ball – back spins and short ball to lead the second and last set with same individual standing, 11 – 5.
Cabalu is set to return on April 1- 2 to defend his ‘zero lose’ standing so far. (Photos & Story by: EDILBERT L. CADELIÑA / Atimonan II District)
