In connection with the Budget Call of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) last January, the 56 implementing units (IUs), plus seven schools to be converted to IUs, attended the Division Pre-Planning Seminar Workshop and Budget Forum for FY 2024 at Sevilla’s Resort, Lucena City, March 2-3.
Participants included school heads, accountants, and senior bookkeepers, together with Administrative Assistants III of the seven additional schools, namely: Bagupaye NHS, Cagsiay I NHS, Hinguiwin NHS, Leonarda D. Vera Cruz NHS, Pili NHS, Sampaloc NHS in Sampaloc, and San Roque NHS in Catanauan.
Similar to the objective of the February 20-23 Budget Forum with the non-IUs, this three-day activity led to the preparation of the school's Programs, Projects & Activities (PPAs) for FY 2024 which will be the basis of their FY 2024 Budget Proposals and Annual Improvement Plans (AIPs). It culminated through the conduct of Division consolidation of FY 2024 budget proposals for IUs.
With the support of the Top Management, Budget Officer Catherine A. Pureza, and Planning Officer Marbin Jeramil D. Fragata led the program management team, together with ADAS III Ariane Cejane of Buenavista NHS who too facilitated the seminar-workshop proper, and Division Cashier Sheila E. Javen, EPS II Michelle G. Duma, HRMO Wennie O. Gaela, Division Accountant Edmund Marin Jr., SEPS-SMME Oscar Duma Jr., ADAS III Jeffrey Maaño, and other finance-related staff.
