TO ALL SCHOOL HEADS:
Relative to the nationwide transport strike of Jeepney Operators and Drivers on March 6-10, 2023, all affected schools shall shift from face-to-face classes to distance learning modalities (modular, online distance learning, or other appropriate distance learning modality), while those not affected shall have the usual face-to-face classes.
Classes are NOT suspended.
All school heads of AFFECTED SCHOOLS are directed to communicate the shift in distance learning modalities to all stakeholders through the official school FB page (DepEd Tayo), virtual meetings, and posting of announcements at school gates and/or other conspicuous places. They shall ensure that learning materials, such as but not limited to SLMs, contextualized learning materials, activity sheets, and other exercises shall be made available to the affected learners. They shall establish a monitoring mechanism to continuously ensure quality learning during this period.
All affected schools shall submit the school plan and contingencies to the SDO-SGOD until tomorrow (Monday, March 6) which will be for consolidation and reporting to the RO.
