DepEd Quezon strengthens school data management; holds Writeshop cum TA to intensify Project ALSITO

 DepEd Quezon’s School Governance and Operation Division (SGOD) - Planning and Research Section through its banner project ALISTO (Amplifying Basic Education and Learners Information System Services to Allocate Resources and Track Opportunities) conducted Writeshop Cum Technical Assistance on School Data Management at M.I. Sevilla’s Resort, Brgy. Domoit, Lucena City, August 11-12, 2022.

The activity was held in line with the implementation of DepEd Order No. 27, s. 2019, otherwise known as Guidelines on the Yearly Collection of Data/Information Requirements and Validation Processes. About 45 ALISTO Volunteer LIS coordinators from different school districts shared their expertise to produce the Tagalized Version of LIS Manual and Frequently Ask Question on different policies related to LIS.

Marbin Jeramil D. Fragata, Planning Officer III, provided technical assistance to the group of writers on the processes of school data management.

The two-day activity produced manuals on the following topics: User Account Management System, Class Assignment, Enrolment of Learners (K-G10), Enrolment of Learners (G11-G12), Correction of Basic Profile, Updating of Other Data, Tagging of SPED/Health Status, EOSY Updating (K-G10), Semestral/EOSY Updating (G11-G12), Quick Count and Early Registration, Division Policy on Pending Request, Adjustments and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on DepEd Order No. 54, s. 2016, DepEd Order No. 3, s. 2018, DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2018, DepEd Order No. 58, s. 2017, DepEd Order No. 48, s. 2017, DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2016, DepEd Order No. 35, s. 2022, and DepEd Order No. 4, s. 2014. The said output is set for release on the last quarter of 2022 after the finalization and evaluation. Fragata commended the efforts made by the group with the hope of serving its purpose.
