Despite the alternative work arrangement (Work from Home), some employees continue to work in the field and at selected offices in the division office. These employees extend their service, despite the risk, in order to deliver essential services and ensure the welfare of the learners and personnel of
DepEd Quezon.
The Division, thru the initiative of Schools Division Superintendent, Catherine P. Talavera, CESO V and the School Health Section, prioritized the provision of medical supplies and Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) for the employees.
As of this moment, DepEd Quezon received various donations to keep every personnel safe. Mr. Marvin Villamin through Engineer Ramir Arbolante donated 50 pieces face shields, 25 pieces washable face masks, and dual function knapsack sprayer.
These PPEs will be distributed to each of the SDO employee as for health protection. This is why the health unit through Miss Tess Abella is now conducting a survey on each personnel’s PPE size.
SDS Catherine P. Talavera, DRRM Coordinator Arvin Repaso and School Health Section Coordinator Tess Abella (top) receive the PPE donations while HR Officer Wennie Gaela (bottom) tries to wear one of the donated PPEs to test its durability.
