DepEd Quezon’s winning athletes in the recently concluded National Invitational Sports Competition (NISC) held in IloIlo City paid courtesy call to the office of the Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Elias A. Alicaya Jr, on Friday, June 17. Nicholas Ivan Radovan, a bankable tanker from Paaralang Sekundarya ng Lucban Integrated School (PSLIS) reigned supreme in men’s 100m and 200m butterfly and hailed as bronze medalist in men’s 1500m freestyle and in 400m individual medley, while Ian G. Llarenas, also from PSLIS brought home bronze in men’s 1500m run. Dr. Jessie Quesea, the Public Schools District Supervisor of Lucban, Dr. Reynaldo Nanong, Principal of PSLIS, Ms. Grace Revillame, of Quezon NHS, coach of Radovan, Mr. Nelson Sario coach of Llarenas, EPS Joan Mauhay, acting sports coordinator, and CID Chief Dr. Lorena Walangsumbat accompanied the athletes in the said courtesy call. ##
