BFP Pagbilao trains SDO Quezon's safety officers on fire prevention , control

 In view of the Annual Fire Prevention Month this March pursuant to Republic Act No. 9514 (Fire Prevention Code of the Philippines), DepEd Quezon in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Pagbilao conducted a fire prevention and control training for the SDO’s safety officers per section/office, Sevilla’s Resort Lucena City, March 18. Insp. Jonathan R. Albos, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, discussed the training’s objectives and gave important safety tips to the participants. SFO4 Jonathan M. Husana, Fire Safety Enforcement Section Chief, shared about fire incidents and school safety; while SFO2 Reynan G. Veluz, Fire Safety Inspector, enumerated the steps to take to attain fire safety at home and in the workplace. Other topics with drills and practice were also delivered: SFO1 Lloyd P. Martinez, Fire Control Operation Chief, on extinguishing fire; and FO3 Arvin C. Daluraya, Station Nurse, on first aid and basic life support.
