PREFIC team organizes 2022 SGOD-SMME project launch

 In order to finalize preparations for the launch of 2022 Project APPRAISE (Applying Results-Oriented Assessment for Improved School Effectiveness, the Division of Quezon's School Governance and Operations Division-School Management Monitoring and Evaluation (SGOD-SMME) conducted a limited face-to-face planning meeting and workshop at Sevilla's Farm and Resort, Lucena City last February 14. Guided by the Division Information Officer, SEPS Oscar R. Duma, together with EPS II Bernadit M. Tupas, the Press Release and Field Correspondents (PREFIC) finalized the set of activities and needed materials for the said event. Based on the pre-planning meeting via Zoom last February 7, the team presented the planning outputs with the help of PREFIC President, Edmond J. Malihan of Guinayangan Elementary School, Guinayangan South District. "Project ALITAPTAP (Advancing Leaders’ Information Technology Advocacy for the Public), a component of Project APPRAISE, is aligned with the Information Leaders Award (ILAW) of DepEd. The virtual launch will also include the 2022 PAPs Festival to showcase the schools/districts’ exemplary programs, activities and projects on governance and operations in support to curriculum implementation," said Duma. Duma also discussed the role of the PREFIC Team as part of information sector of the SDO-Quezon and mobilization through information dissemination on DepEd Tayo Quezon Facebook Page. Other matters were also explained, including recruitment of additional members to represent the four congressional districts of Quezon, certifying contributors, managing article contributions, and creating members’ identification cards. In support to the said projects, Elizabeth M. De Villa, SGOD Chief, expressed her encouragement, and provided technical assistance to the group. She sponsored the PREFIC Team’s shirt as well.
