To review the alignment of school programs and projects with the Division targets for FY 2022 and ensure efficient use of government funds, the Schools Division of Quezon facilitated an online finalization of school Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) and Work & Financial Plan (WFP) for the said year, involving school heads and focal persons of Division programs, January 6-12, 2022. Chief Dr. Lorena Walangsumbat discussed about how to align school programs with the CID’s Project LIGHTS, while Chief Elizabeth De Villa presented the SGOD’s Project DUYOG. Both projects are banner initiatives for curriculum and governance. Michelle Duma, Division GAD focal person, reminded the participants on the uses of GAD budget, as well as provided strategies to make their GAD plans effective. Dr. Maria Bernadit Tupas, EPS-II for SMME, clarified the requirements on quality assurance through regular monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects using the Project Monitoring Report Form (PMRF). She also highlighted the important roles of project teams and School Planning Team (SPT) in successful implementation of the AIP. Accountant Edmundo Marin Jr., as represented by Chaenkee De Los Reyes, also provided inputs on financial planning, particularly on responsible use of school MOOE. The presentation of outputs and critiquing followed.
