SDO Quezon holds limited F2F Teachers Induction Program

 To acquaint the participants on the Department of Education’s (DepEd) mandates, and their benefits and privileges, DepEd Quezon conducted a Division Teachers Induction Program for Batch No. 1 on Monday, November 22. Dr. Herbert D. Perez, OIC-ASDS, explained how the Department vision, mission and core values are deep-rooted in the implementation of its programs and projects towards the delivery of quality, equitable and accessible basic education services guided by the principles of inclusivity. Mr. Derrick N. de la Pena, Member Services Officer II, Pag-IBIG Fund Lucena Branch, discussed via Zoom the policy guidelines of the Home Development Mutual Fund. Mr. de la Pena oriented the teacher-participants on Fund Updates, new programs, and member benefits and privileges. In the afternoon session, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, commonly known as PhilHealth, is expected to deliver a lecture on the Universal Health Program. OIC-ASDS Gregorio A. Co Jr. will present the organizational structure of DepEd, including that of SDO Quezon, while OIC-SDS Elias Alicaya Jr. will lead the inductees’ pledge of commitment.
