"Gurong Filipino: Katuwang sa Hamon, Kasama sa Pagbangon" is this year's theme as we celebrate the 2021 Philippine National Teachers' Month (NTM)

 Recognition of the invaluable contribution of teachers in national development is anchored on Republic Act No. 10743 titled “An Act Declaring the Fifth Day of October of Every Year as The National Teachers’ Day”, which aligns with UNESCO's World Teachers’ Day (WTD). The NTM is being celebrated from September 5 to October 5 of every year, by virtue of Proclamation No. 242, s. 2011.
