With zeal to step up the human resource management (HRM) in DepEd Quezon, its 48 core HRM members began their intensive online micro-learning journey on Competency-Based HR Management System (CBHRMS) on Tuesday, April 13.
After seizing the coveted Maturity Level 2 of the PRIME [Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence] HRM’s four HR systems, the Schools Division Office (SDO) is already at the front of implementing a competency framework that will support its CBHRMS covering the core processes of a) recruitment, selection, and placement; b) learning and development; c) performance management; d) and rewards and recognition. This preparation alludes to plans towards Level 3 accreditation.
The HR core members specialize on creating the SDO’s HR framework through a training program facilitated by the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) Civil Service Institute (CSI). The program divided into meal-piece courses is moderated by Ms. Joie Agustin, and managed by Ms. Joyce Linsao-Ng, CBHRMS Subject Matter Expert.
The first step of SDO Quezon’s CBHRMS journey ends in April 23 on the course: Competency Modelling and Profiling. The remaining courses covering Development of Qualification Standards and Job Description; Competency Assessment; and Integration of HR System are expected to be completed until July 9, with Coaching Sessions up to July 19, 2021.
The Top Management believes that by prioritizing the CBHRMS and HR processes, from recruitment and selection to career pathing and succession planning, the human resource from which the life and vitality of the organization anchors will be empowered and developed professionally as they deliver quality services to clienteles.
