To further strengthen the implementation of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH), the CSE–ARH Convergence was launched as one of the key strategies to help reduce teenage pregnancy and strengthen the linkage of learners to adolescent sexual and reproductive health services. In line with this initiative, the Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) Team of the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), DepEd Quezon, conducted field monitoring of the new pilot implementers of the CSE–ARH Convergence from January 19 to 30, 2026.
The activity was supported and guided by the Division Top Management, headed by Schools Division Superintendent Rommel C. Bautista,CESO V, together with the three (3) Assistant Schools Division Superintendents, SGOD Chief Juanito A. Merle, EdD, CID Chief Walter Galarosa,PhD, and the Officer-in-Charge of the School Health Section, Ma. Teresita M. Abella,RN.
The monitoring team was led by Sir Raul Agaran, SGOD EPS Supervisor, with Nurse-in-Charge Heide H. Gabriel; ARH Focal Person Princess Leni May M. Rejano; Alternate Focal Person Clarisse B. Ladignon; and ARH Coordinators Haidee T. Mandrique, Eusylda U. Carandang, Margaret Z. Abaricia, Jocylyn C. Fontanille, Kathleen Mae Noblefranca, and Luisa E. Parco.
The CSE–ARH Additional Pilot Implementers include Talipan National High School (Pagbilao); Dr. Maria D. Pastrana National High School (Mauban South); Manuel S. Enverga Memorial Schools of Arts and Trade (Mauban North); Gumaca National High School (Gumaca West); Lamon Bay School of Fisheries (Gumaca East); Atimonan National Comprehensive High School – JHS and SHS (Atimonan I); Lutucan Integrated National High School and Bignay National High School (Sariaya West); Quezon National High School (Sariaya East); Recto Memorial National High School (Tiaong I); Dagatan National High School (Dolores); Unisan Integrated High School (Unisan); Olongtao National High School (Macalelon); Matandang Sabang National High School (Catanauan II); Godofredo M. Tan Integrated School of Arts and Trade (San Narciso I); Abuyon National High School (San Narciso II); and San Andres National High School (San Andres).
Additional implementers through online platforms include Infanta National High School (Infanta), Polillo National High School (Polillo), and Cesar C. Tan Memorial National High School (Quezon).
The participating schools showcased their best practices in implementing the program, particularly the establishment of Teen Health Kiosks, the formation of peer health navigators, and the strengthening of referral systems. These initiatives mark a positive step toward better linking learners to adolescent reproductive health services and empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their sexual and reproductive health.
