Whether the Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) implemented in all learning areas across all districts were aligned or not to the Key Result Areas (KRAs) of each personnel, the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) conducted its mid-year performance review on separate dates.
The event was held at DepEd Quezon’s Library Hub and Training Center respectively on July 21 for the Education Program Specialists – ALS (EPSAs); July 22 for the Education Program Supervisors (EPSs); July 25 for the Learning Resource Management Development Section (LRMDS) Librarian, and PDO staff; and August 9-12 for the Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDSs).
The performance review focused on determining the success and status of the PPAs implemented under the supervision of each CID personnel and their alignment to the KRAs and CID seven banner programs.
Within a 10-minute presentation, each CID personnel reported the PPAs’ success indicators, gaps, and planned adjustments per KRA domain, objective, strand, and indicator to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of basic education services.
Each presenter shared best practices such as literacy, numeracy programs, Special Curricular Program offerings, and other matters applicable to their area of concentration.
“The main goal of the activity is to see the direction of the curriculum implementation in our division as per learning area and per district. This is why this review of the Individual Performance Commitment Form (IPCRF) pushed through to identify if all PPAs are aligned to the specific functions of each personnel defined in their KRAs,” Dr. Lorena Walangsumbat, CID Chief stated.
She also mentioned that the activity intended to evaluate the existing CID seven banner programs under CID LIGHTS for analysis of their Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT).
In far as this event was held via limited face-to-face, the management ensured that health and safety protocols were observed and complied as per Inter-Agency Task Force guidelines and policies.
