While the situation may still be at risk comes opening of classes, the Department of Education (DepEd) Quezon division bared its plans to push through blended learning that the Central Office suggested.
SDS Catherine Talavera, CESO V, aired in a meeting with the Curriculum and Implementation Division (CID) personnel that social distancing still remains and no social gatherings will be allowed even classes already open.
“Blended learning will be the mode of delivery. There will be online and offline modes,” the superintendent mentioned.
“Online delivery mode fits those schools with enough computer laboratories and internet connections. This is why the division conducted a survey on functional computer laboratories. The offline mode on the other hand comes in form of modules,” Dr.Lorena Walangsumbat, CID chief explained.
Relatively, the SDS instructed the CID to craft ADM modules for first quarter of School Year 2020-2021. The modules will highlight the most essential learning competencies downloaded by the Central Office alongside with the Budget of Work (BOW) from the region.
The modules are expected to be ready before the month of June.
